قطار المشاعر المقدسة في مكة المكرمة:

هو مشروع خط سكة حديدية يربط مكة المكرمة بالمشاعر المقدسة منى.. عرفة .. مزدلفة.... تبلغ كلفة المشروع نحو 6.7 مليارات ريال سعودي، وبدأ تنفيذ المشروع منذ بداية 2009 من خلال الشركة الصينية لإنشاء السكك الحديدية.
ويتميز القطار بالسرعة والارتفاع عن الأرض ويقوم على أعمدة أحادية وسط الشارع ويتميز أيضا بقربه للمشاة والمحطة وقدرته الاستيعابية حج العام 1431هـ _2010م وسينتهي .. ويعمل به 5000 عامل صيني يتناوبون على العمل 24ساعه ويعد مشروعاً هاماً إذ سيغني القطار عن استخدام 12000 حافلة في الحج وسيستوعب نقل 500000 راكب أثناء موسم الحج ويتميز بخطط حركة للقطارات بين المشاعر بما يتناسب مع ترتيب مناسك الحج بدءاً من يوم التروية وحتى نهاية أخر أيام التشريق وهذا الكم المهول من الركاب الذي يستوعبه القطار سيجنب مكة المكرمة ظاهرة الزحام أثناء مواسم الحج ..وبعد الانتهاء من الأعمال الإنشاء يه ستكون مكة المكرمة أول مدينة سعوديه يدخل القطار في وسائل النقل الرئيسية لها ولكن التحدي الرئيسي الذي يواجه إنشاء القطار هو مجاري السيول والأودية الجبال والتي اعدت الشركة الصينية لها قسم ليبحث تلك المشكلة.والشركة الصينية القائمة على تنفيذ المشروع هي شركة سكة الحديد الصينية
قضية العمال
إحدى التحديات التي واجهتها السلطات هي أن دخول مكة يعتبر محرما لغير المسلمين..ولكن المهندسين والخبراء الصينيين أكثرهم ملحدون أو يتبعون إحدى الديانات الصينية. ولكن بعد فترة وجيزة ظهر خبر أن مئات من هؤلاء العمال الصينيين اعتنقوا الإسلام.( ؟؟ )وقد قيل أن العمال اعتنقوا الإسلام بعد 24 ساعة من إعطائهم كتبا باللغة الصينية عن الإسلام خلال عملهم في عرفات التي تعتبر خارج الحرم. وقال عبد العزيز الخضيري وكيل إمارة مكة المكرمة المساعد أن هذا يعتبر «ردا مباشرا على منتقدي الحكومة لتعاقدها مع شركة صينية».؟؟ ولكن هناك من شكك في هذه العملية وقال ان سببها الحفاظ على عقود تساوي المليارات.
ميزات القطار
يصل ارتفاع قطار المشاعر عن سطح الأرض في بعض المناطق بنحو 8 أمتار وفي مناطق أخرى يصل ارتفاعه إلى 10 أمتار وذلك لمنع تسببه في عرقلة حركة المشاة أو السيارات التي تنقل الحجاج...
