وقد نصح احد الرجال زوجته فقال:
خذي العفو مني تستديمي مودتي ...... ولا تنطقي في سورتي حين اغضب
ولا تنقريني نقرك الدف مرة ........ فانك لا تدرين كيف المغيب
ولا تكثري فتذهب بالهوى ...... ويأباك قلبي والقلوب تقلب
فاني رأيت الحب في القلب والأذى .. إذا اجتمعا لم يلبث الحب يذهب!
